The National Centre for Agricultural Information and Documentation (National Centre for Agro‑Information and Documentation, NCAID) is a governmental agricultural information and documentation centre under the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform in the Syrian Arab Republic (Syria). The National Centre for Agro‑Information and Documentation collects, organises, preserves and provides access to agricultural information, research outputs, publications and documentation to support research, policymaking, extension services, and agricultural development in Syria. It acts as a national agricultural data provider contributing bibliographic records and metadata to international agricultural information networks such as FAO AGRIS, helping to make Syrian agricultural research and documentation discoverable and interoperable with global information systems. The Centre plays a key role in enabling access to agricultural knowledge and supporting the work of researchers, government agencies, and stakeholders in the agricultural sector of Syria.
