The Scientific Electronic Library Online Venezuela (Biblioteca Científica Electrónica en Línea Venezuela, commonly known as SciELO Venezuela) is a digital open‑access library and scholarly publishing platform that provides online access to a selected collection of peer‑reviewed academic journals. It is part of the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) network, a cooperative project originally developed to increase the visibility and accessibility of scientific literature from Latin America and the Caribbean. SciELO Venezuela makes Venezuelan scholarly journals available in full text and supports research dissemination in multiple disciplines, including the sciences, health, social sciences, and the humanities. SciELO Venezuela participates as a data provider in international agricultural and scientific information systems such as FAO AGRIS.
