The laboratory for the protection of ecosystems in arid and semi-arid zones KASDI MERBAH University- Ouargla-Algeria has for mission the identification of wild and cultivated flora, its use in different fields (medicinal, biological control, bio-indication), research on camel breeding in view. its safeguard and its development, to draw up an inventory of the management and functioning of the various oasis ecosystems, to study the impacts of desertification, the loss of biodiversity, various pollution, etc.
