The Centre de Recherches Océanologiques is a public research institution in Abidjan dedicated to the study and management of marine and coastal ecosystems. The center conducts scientific research on oceanography, fisheries, marine biodiversity, and environmental conservation, providing data and expertise to support sustainable development, policy-making, and the preservation of aquatic resources in Côte d’Ivoire and the West African region.
