The National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) promotes research and the application of new knowledge to the productive and social reality of the country.

ANII was created in response to the growing focus on innovation and the need to promote the development of technical and professional knowledge in the country from the public sector, and to encourage the management and development of innovative ventures whose application benefits the entire population.
