The Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA), as the technological arm of the water sector, has among its main attributions the training of human resources to strengthen the institutional capacities of the main actors of the environment. Fulfilling this responsibility, the Institute's Continuing Education Subcoordination (SEC) has carried out training programmes aimed at operational and technical staff of the water sector, companies, specialists, consultants, academics and students, such as: the Annual Continuing Education Programme (PAEC), the Annual Distance Education Programme and has a catalogue with more than 70 courses that are given at the express request of users.
