The Institute of Agriculture of Carpathian Region of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine serves as the principal research institution in the Carpathian region. Its primary functions include addressing current theoretical and practical issues in agriculture, crop production, fodder production, and animal husbandry; implementing scientific and technological achievements along with domestic and international best practices in agricultural institutions, enterprises, cooperatives, and farms; and providing scientific support for the development and implementation of zonal and regional programs for the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex.
