On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, the Making Every Voice Count for Adaptive Management (MEV-CAM) initiative kicked off its participatory video (PV) training. The MEV-CAM initiative is led by the Dryland Forestry team at theFood and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and funded by the South-South Triangle Cooperation program. FAO in partnership with China co-organizes international event focusing on efforts to tackle hunger, malnutrition and inequality
Rome/Beijing - Effective cooperation between countries in the Global South and other development partners is critical in reversing the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic which is pushing more people into poverty and hunger. This was one of the main messages that resonated today from an international high-level event on South-South and Triangular Cooperation co-organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

En el 2022, el Programa de Cooperación Internacional Brasil-FAO cumple 14 años de acciones desarrolladas la región, una alianza exitosa entre el gobierno de Brasil y la FAO que cuenta con la experiencia y las buenas prácticas del país en temas como alimentación escolar y programas de compras públicas de alimentos, agricultura familiar, fortalecimiento del sector algodonero, erradicación del hambre y  pobreza rural, gobernanza responsable de la tierra, seguridad alimentaria y nutricional, políticas públicas agroambientales y acuícolas.
