FAO’s Biodiversity Mainstreaming Platform, Bioversity International and the Food Forever Initiative jointly organize this side event to highlight the need for biodiversity to be integrated across agricultural markets and sectors, including crops, livestock, forestry, agroforestry, fisheries and aquaculture. Participants will also gain a better understanding on how to increase production to meet the growing demand for food, feed and bioenergy, while conserving biodiversity and reducing the pressure on natural resources and ecosystems.
