The Plenary Assembly aims to convene members of the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform for the first time since its inception, including representatives from governments, civil society, the private sector, research, academia, international and regional intergovernmental organizations, UN and specialized agencies and financial institutions under the Quadripartite umbrella (FAO, UNEP, WHO, and WOAH). Over two days, participants from One Health sectors (human, agriculture, animal, plant, and environment) and global regions will come together to network, discuss challenges and opportunities, explore avenues for collective action on AMR, discuss governance and plan for the 2024 United Nations General Assembly High-Level Meeting on AMR.
