About RAM Awareness Week

This year, under the slogan "act now: protect our present, secure our future" the aim is to raise awareness and encourage global initiatives to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR). During the Week, the One Health approach is promoted through various events and activities organized around the world, with the aim of addressing AMR in the areas of human, animal, plant and environmental health.

The campaign calls on all actors, including governments, civil society, health professionals, veterinarians and other animal health professionals, farmers, environmental actors and the public, to turn political commitments into concrete actions.
