The International Symposium Agriculture, Biodiversity and Food Security: From Commitments to Actions was held at the Quebec City Convention Centre, Canada, from April 30 to May 2, 2024. Jointly organized by Université Laval's École supérieure d'études internationales, the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie (MRIF), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, the event brought together over 250 key players from the agricultural and agrifood sectors in 39 countries.

Transforming our agrifood systems to make them more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable is key to addressing the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.
