Ministerial Conference on “Regional Climate Action in the Western Balkans”

The Ministry of Tourism and Environment of Albania, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the United Nations Environment Programme will jointly organize a high-level sub-regional conference that will bring together Ministers and other high-level representatives from Western Balkan countries, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia. At the Conference, ministerial representatives will be presenting their national priorities for climate action, while identifying opportunities for joint regional programs. The outcome of the conference is expected to be the adoption of a “Joint Roadmap on Climate Action in the Western Balkans” which will be later implemented through the conceptualization and development of joint regional projects and programmes.
