Regional Meeting and Consultation for Europe and Central Asia “The aspects of the Integrated Pest Management in the region with emphasis on berries production"

The main objective of the Regional Meeting and consultation is to share the experience of the countries in the region on IPM system and legislation and the issues of the promotion through for introduction of the already existing examples and the possibilities of the application.
Beside this the other main purpose to strengthening the knowledge of the national professional staff on current aspects of IPM and support the implementation and promote the application of this approach on the berries production in the region under the TCP/MOL/3603/C2 “Strengthening the capacity of smallholder farmers in berries production in Moldova”.

As a side event of the regional meeting the National IPM Program of Moldova - developed under the TCP/MOL/3502 “Support for adaptation and implementation of Integrated Pest Management in Moldova” project - will be introduced.
