Study Tour on Plant Genetic Resource Management

FAO REU under its Project TCP/MOL 3504: Support to the development of a National Programme for Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture in Moldova organize a study tour for two people to Hungary visit the Centre for Plant Diversity Institute. During the study tour the participants will get to know the modern methods of the PGR management, in vitro methods for preservation and the  principles of the operation of the Plant Gene Bank. Furthermore the participants will visit two Research station of the NARIC Fruitculture Research Institute to see the on-field preservation methods and the fruit gene bank.
