Training for geodetic companies on conducting land consolidation feasibility studies

The European Union-funded ‘Mainstreaming of the National Land Consolidation Programme’ (MAINLAND) project, implemented by FAO together with the Macedonian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy is holding a training workshop for geodetic companies on conducting feasibility studies for ten selected land consolidation project areas.

The workshop is taking place at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy in Skopje.

The main objective of the workshop is to support skills and knowledge development and increase practical capacity of the private geodetic companies working on land consolidation feasibility studies in the villages of Logovardi, Opticari, Trn and Zabeni in Bitola Municipality; Sokolarci, Spanchevo, Cheshinovo and Chiflik in Cheshinovo-Obleshevo Municipality; Carev Dvor in Resen Municipality and Stojakovo in Bogdanci Municipality.

At the workshop, the participants will learn more about conducting feasibility studies, as a first phase in the land consolidation process.
