ECA Regional Preparatory Meeting for the 2023 Food Systems Stocktaking Moment

The Issue-Based Coalition on Sustainable Food Systems and the United Nations Food Systems Coordination Hub are organizing the “Regional preparatory meeting for the Food Systems Stocktaking Moment (STM),” which will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, on 28 March 2023, during the 2023 UNECE Regional Forum on Sustainable Development.
The meeting will be held as a technical-level workshop. It will be a venue for Member Nations to share experiences, good practices, and lessons learned from the process of acting on their commitments taken at the UN Food Systems Summit in 2021 to accelerate action on agrifood systems transformation. They will also report on the progress of the delivery of the priorities, needs, and gaps identified in national pathways.
National Convenors and other stakeholders will identify priority actions and key messages for the Europe and Central Asia region. These points and messages will be synthesized into a brief technical report that will be used as a planning document for the preparation of the 2023 Food Systems Stocktaking Moment.
