On the occasion of World Food Day (WFD) and the World Food Forum (WFF) 2023, the FAO Liaison Office in Geneva celebrated the week and carried out a wide range of activities.

Rome- The 2023 World Food Forum (WFF) kicked off today with a dynamic opening ceremony at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome. The flagship event, a vibrant global platform that unites individuals from all walks of life and sectors, is dedicated to reshaping the future of agrifood systems.

Rome – The second Hand-in-Hand Investment Forum began today, intent on quadrupling the more than $3 billion in fresh resources proposed in the inaugural event in 2022 to invest in poverty reduction, improved food security and sustainable agrifood systems that benefit the poorest.
