No. 53 March 2018
24/05/2018
General Situation during March 2018 and Forecast until mid-April 2018 Moroccan Locust (DMA) hatching started much earlier than last year in southern Central Asian countries, namely Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan (and probably Turkmenistan), as a result of a cool winter and an early spring warming, both seasons being sometimes also dry. For this reason, DMA situation is already considered as critical in Tajikistan.
