The Food Safety Commission of Japan plans World Food Safety Day Kids Box revamp

For fans of the Food Safety Commission of Japan’s (FSCJ) Kids Box feature, standby for a revamp! The FSJC is planning to introduce new characters to mark World Food Safety Day, so check them out on 7 June at: https://www.fsc.go.jp/kids-box/ https://www.facebook.com/cao.fscj Kids Box introduces young people to different food safety concepts and gives them age-appropriate information on subjects like allergies, food poisoning and food preservation. Philippines Food Safety Academy to hold a month of food safety webinars

Kenya will host radio and TV shows, podcasts and webinar for World Food Safety Day

Kenya has pulled together a multi-stakeholder committee to organize a series of media events for World Food Safety Day this year. Nigerian students plan food safety awareness raising on safe meat production

In Nigeria’s state of Lagos, students are taking part in a project about training in food safety and good handling practices. They will celebrate World Food Safety Day as part of their training programme and plan activities at a local abattoir.
