Towards more sustainable and resilient agrifood systems: The importance of responsible global value chains

The event will provide a platform to discuss challenges and possible solutions to ensure that policies and new regulations for responsible agrifood value chains benefit and do not harm agricultural producers and agri-businesses, and particularly smallholder farmers in developing countries, and support the transition toward more sustainable and resilient agrifood systems. The event will also discuss how international organizations can support developing countries in adapting to the new sustainability requirements.
