The sourcebook comes with an annex publication with 6 in-depth case studies in six cities around the world: Quito (Ecuador), Leuven (Belgium), Dakar (Senegal), Arusha (Tanzania), Surakarta (Indonesia) and Tegucigalpa (Honduras). The case studies cover UPA policies, challenges, and practices under themes like land, water, labor, finance, agronomy, value chain, and governance. A comparative analysis provides generalizable lessons and recommendations for planners and policymakers.
