Self-evaluation and Holistic Assessment of Climate Resilience of Farmers and Pastoralist (SHARP+)

Soil quality and land degradation

This module analyzes soil quality through several physical and biological indicators, as well as the degradation processes affecting agricultural land.

Contribution to resilience

Healthy soils are fundamental to long-term agricultural productivity and the ability to adapt to environmental stresses. Soil quality has a direct influence on the resilience of agroecosystems, guaranteeing an ecologically self-regulating system, even in the face of climate change.
