I have the honour to draw your attention to the Report of the Ninth Session of the Governing Body of the International Treaty (New Delhi, India, 19 – 24 September 2022) and the decisions contained therein. In particular, reference is made to Resolution 17/2022 by which the Work Programme and Budget for the 2022-2023 biennium was adopted.

In paragraph 20 of Resolution 17/2022, the Governing Body encourages Contracting Parties and other donors to replenish the Special Fund to Support the Participation of Developing Countries in the amount of USD 700,000 for the 2022-2023 biennium, and it requests the Secretary to issue a call for funds to this effect.
