06/08/2012 Through resolution 3/2011 the Governing Body emphasized the need to raise the profile the Benefit-sharing Fund of the Treaty and invited Contracting Parties and other relevant stakeholder to explore innovative benefit-sharing measures within the benefit-sharing mechanisms of information exchange, technology transfer and capacity building.The Second High-level Roundtable on the International Treaty adopted the Rio Six-point Action Plan for the International Treaty and recommended stakeholders to establish a Platform for the Co-Development and Transfer of Technologies within the context of non-monetary benefit- sharing under the Treaty.
