Technical Workshop on FSBDGs

To support the improvement of population nutrition and the transformation of food systems in the Central Asian region, FAO is assisting three countries, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan, in developing Food System-Based Dietary Guidelines (FSBDGs). 

In Kyrgyzstan technical workshop builds on previous work and aims to bring together the multi-sectoral experts within the Technical Task Team to develop preliminary evidence-based nutrition targets that will inform the subsequent development of National Dietary Guidelines.
