Forest and Landscape Restoration Mechanism

The Capacity, Knowledge and Learning Action Plan (CKLAP, por sus siglas en inglés) 

Through the Capacity, Knowledge and Learning Action Plan, the Task Force on Best Practices aims to undertake system-wide capacity-development efforts to support the implementation of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. 

The action plan is divided into two main parts.

  1. Part 1 identifies gaps where knowledge products or capacity-development initiatives are needed across various stakeholder groups, based on the results from a global capacity needs assessment, a stocktaking of capacity-development initiatives and knowledge products, and several targeted consultations.  
  2. Part 2 describes the terms of reference for the following eight key capacity- and knowledge-development initiatives, tailored to different target groups, that define the Capacity, Knowledge and Learning Action Plan for the UN Decade:
