10/11/2009-- Improved coverage of rural poverty and environmental issues through collaboration with IFAD and WRI
The FAO Country Profiles expands its coverage providing direct access to partner organizations country profiles in the areas of agriculture, natural resources and fight against hunger and rural poverty.
The Rural Poverty Country Profiles, produced by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), are now available in the General Information, Economic Situation and Food security and Safety sections of the FAO Country Profiles.
In addition, various thematic profiles produced by EarthTrends of the World Resources Institute (WRI) have been linked in relevant sections of the FAO country profiles.
