The Moscow FAO Office and its partner university Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy held a youth festival celebrating the Honey Feast of the Saviour (August 14) and International Youth Day (August 12). Over 80 high school students from all over Russia, winners of a contest for young students of nature, their mentors and welcoming hosts, the whole team of the Department of Aquaculture and Beekeeping headed by Professor Alfir Mannapov, Doctor of Biological Sciences, took part in the outdoor celebration at the Timiryazev training apiary.
