The FAO Moscow Office continues to actively cooperate with the Eurasian Economic Commission, the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The productive collaboration between the two organizations dates back over a decade, with the first memorandum of understanding signed in 2013.

Our interview with Oleg Kobiakov, Director of the FAO Liaison Office with the Russian Federation, focuses on the way Russia is participating in this thorny process.

Rome – The FAO Food Price Index, a benchmark of world food commodity price developments, remained largely unchanged in March from its revised February value, as declines in world cereal and sugar quotations offset a notable increase in vegetable oil prices, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) reported on Friday.

On 26–28 February, the city of Belokurikha in Altai Krai hosted the XVIII Winter Grain Conference. The Altai Grain Processors Union, ProZerno analytical company and Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) organized this annual event under the auspices of Altai Krai Government and Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
