World hunger in our century of high technologies has not gone away. But it is not possible to address food insecurity single-handedly. Our interview with Oleg Kobiakov, Director of the FAO Liaison Office with the Russian Federation, focuses on the way Russia is participating in this thorny process. 

The One Health approach recognizes the interconnections between people and ecosystems and aims to sustainably balance the health of people, plants, animals and the environment. Rome – The FAO Food Price Index, a benchmark of world food commodity price developments, remained largely unchanged in March from its revised February value, as declines in world cereal and sugar quotations offset a notable increase in vegetable oil prices, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) reported on Friday.
