Notes for the organizers of side events

  • The exact room number will be announced in due course.
  • Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the maximum capacity of all side event rooms will be regulated according to the size and configuration of each room.
  • All side-event rooms are equipped with a projector and a computer/laptop, sound system, and mics.
  • Please prepare and bring name plates for your event’s speakers, as necessary.
  • Catering arrangement:
    Due to some constraints at the conference venue, food cannot be served for side events outside the event rooms, while coffee/tea and pastries will be offered in the corridors to all participants of the Ninth Session. Therefore, no catering service will be arranged for side events, while lunch will be offered to all Session participants at the designated restaurants at 12:30 – 15:30.

  • Please ensure that all your panellists are registered and inserted in a list of participants to the Ninth Session of the Governing Body, even if they will participate only in the side event. For registration as Side Event panellist, please write to the Secretariat at [email protected] with “Side Event Panellist” indicated in the subject of the message.
