日本作为亚洲区域协调员,旨在坚持法典的核心价值,即包容性、合作、建立共识和透明度,同时追求以下目标
- 通过促进意见交流,促进区域内的合作与协调,以便亚洲成员能够充分了解并有效地参与委员会及其附属机构;并且,
- 促进区域协调委员会进行公开和建设性的讨论,以确定有关消费者健康保护和确保区域内食品贸易公平做法的当前、新出现和关键问题,并及时解决这些问题。
