لجنة التنسيق للدستور الغذائي في آسيا - المنسق الإقليمي االصين
تأسست لجنة التنسيق لهيئة الدستور الغذائي في آسيا في الاجتماع الحادي عشر لهيئة الدستور الغذائي الذي عقد في روما، إيطاليا، في تموز/ يوليو 1976. وتم عقد اجتماعها الأول في نيودلهي (الهند) في كانون الثاني/ يناير 1977.
ويعمل المنسق الإقليمي من داخل المركز الوطني الصيني لتقييم مخاطر سلامة الأغذية.
وتشمل الأولويات الرئيسية للصين كمنسق تعزيز المشاركة في اجتماعات هيئة الدستور الغذائي، ودعم تحديد أولويات عمل الهيئة في المنطقة، وتحسين تنسيق مواصفات سلامة الأغذية وتسريع تنشيط لجنة التنسيق من خلال تبادل المعلومات وتقديم تحديثات منتظمة حول قضايا سلامة الأغذية ضمن المنطقة.
كما ترغب الصين أيضا في تعزيز التعاون مع منظمات المراقبة وتحسين التواصل الكفوء والفعال بين الأعضاء الإقليميين ومنظمة الأغذية والزراعة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية وأمانة هيئة الدستور الغذائي.

Ministers and representatives of seven countries gathered in Seoul, Republic of Korea on 10-11 May 2023 to establish a ministerial level food regulators coalition in the Asia-Pacific region. Japan’s Food Safety Management Association starts World Food Safety Day activities
On 9 May, Masanori Kotani, Vice President/Secretary General of Japan’s Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) delivered a lecture on food safety and the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) “5 keys to safer food” and “2023 theme and slogan of World Food Safety Day” to second- and third-year students at Hokkaido Shizunai Agricultural High School.

Preparations are underway for the 22nd Korean Food Safety Day
To raise awareness of the importance of ensuring food safety, Korea is getting ready for the 22nd Korean Food Safety Day. The celebration events will be held on 12 May 2023 in Seoul, ahead of the official day, which falls on a Sunday, on 14 May 2023, and World Food Safety Day on 7 June 2023. World Food Safety Day guide now available in Korean
A Korean language version of the World Food Safety Day guide has now been added to those already available in all six official UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish). Over 11 200 Codex standards to be harmonized into Bangladeshi food safety legislation
In a high-level event on Saturday 25 March 2023, the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) announced the successful drafting of 11 200 food standards harmonized with Codex. These are expected to be gazette-notified before the end of the year. ACT project in Mongolia: Prudent use of antimicrobials discussed among herders

Codex Observer sees yellow at CCFA
A group of food additives called beta-carotenes are used to add a yellow colour to foods like soft drinks, confectionary and cakes. Spectacular show in Hong Kong celebrates Codex 60th anniversary
In a burst of colour and sound, taste and vision, the Centre for Food Safety, Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, Hong Kong SAR, China put on a show of local culture and entertainment on Monday 27 March, 2023 for delegates attending the Codex Committee on Food Additives (CCFA).

FAO announces new brochure and strategic priorities on food safety at CCFA
FAO has now issued a brochure that describes its work on food safety. Safe food for everyone – FAO’s work on food safety: science, standards and good practices is available in two formats (pdf and digital) and six languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish).
