Comité du Codex sur les contaminants dans les aliments (CCCF)

Mandat:(a) confirmer ou établir des limites maximales autorisées et, le cas échéant réviser les limites indicatives existantes, pour les contaminants et les substances toxiques naturellement présentes dans l’alimentation humaine et animale ;
(b) établir des listes prioritaires de contaminants et de substances toxiques présentes naturellement aux fins de l’évaluation des risques par le Comité mixte FAO/OMS d’experts des additifs alimentaires;
(c) examiner et élaborer des méthodes d’analyse et d’échantillonnage servant au dosage des contaminants et des substances toxiques naturellement présents dans l’alimentation humaine et animale;
(d) examiner et élaborer des normes ou codes d’usages dans des domaines apparentés; et
(e) examiner toute autre question relative aux contaminants et aux substances toxiques présentes naturellement dans l’alimentation humaine et animale que lui confie la Commission.
