Координационный комитет Кодекса по Азии (CCASIA), региональный координатор – Индия

Координационный комитет по Азии был учрежден на 11-й сессии Комиссии "Кодекс Алиментариус" (ККА), которая состоялась в Риме, Италия, в июле 1976 г. Его первое заседание состоялось в Нью-Дели (Индия) в январе 1977 г. В последующем этот комитет стал называться "Координационный комитет Кодекса для Азии" (CCASIA), поскольку это название лучше отражало участие стран региона.

Основная задача CCASIA – содействовать развитию связей между государствами членами Азии, а также разрабатывать региональные стандарты на определенные пищевые продукты. С момента основания CCASIA его деятельность направлена на защиту здоровья потребителей и обеспечение добросовестной практики в сфере торговли продовольствием.

FAO team up with Food and Drug Authority in Indonesia to celebrate World Food Safety Day
